What to Expect Before, During, and After
A thorough consultation is essential because ultrasound body contouring is not appropriate for everyone.
Before your appointment
- Disclose medications, implants, scars, mesh, IUDs, and prior procedures
- Arrive with clean, intact skin
- Avoid treatment over sunburn, irritation, wounds, or infection
- Follow any hydration or preparation instructions Eli provides
During your session
- Gel supports full applicator contact with the skin
- Report heat, pain, pinching, numbness, or discomfort immediately
- The applicator remains limited to the approved area
- Treatment stops if the skin response or sensation is concerning
After your session
- Follow the individualized aftercare instructions provided
- Expect that temporary redness, swelling, bruising, or tenderness may occur
- Do not repeat treatment sooner than recommended
- Seek medical care for burns, blisters, severe pain, persistent numbness, or worsening symptoms
