What should I wear for a massage?
Wear comfortable clothing. Undress only to your comfort level; professional draping keeps you covered except for the area being worked on.
Can I change the pressure or technique?
Yes. Ask for more or less pressure, a different position, a skipped area, or a pause at any time. Consent continues throughout the appointment.
Skin Care
How should I prepare for a facial?
Avoid arriving with sunburn or irritated skin, list your products and prescriptions, and disclose recent waxing, injections, peels, laser, microneedling, or other procedures.

How do I choose the right service?
Start with the massage or skin-care index and compare the purpose, pressure or products, safety notes, timing, and price. Text Eli if two options seem similar.

Why do I need an intake form?

What happens if I am late?
The appointment may need to end at the original scheduled time so the next client can begin as planned.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
Follow the instructions connected to your booking or contact Eli as soon as possible. The terms displayed when you booked apply to that appointment.

Swedish Massage
What is a Swedish massage?
Swedish massage is a relaxing, full-body massage that uses smooth, flowing strokes, gentle kneading, and customized pressure to help ease everyday muscle tension and promote a calmer state of mind. It is a wonderful choice when you want to slow down, recharge, and feel more comfortable in your body.
Is Swedish massage right for me?
Swedish massage is a great choice if you are feeling stressed, carrying everyday tension, new to massage, or simply want time to relax and reset. Pressure is always tailored to your comfort. If you are looking for focused, firmer work on chronic knots or a specific problem area, Deep Tissue Massage may be a better fit.
What should I expect during my first Swedish massage?
Your session begins with a short conversation about your goals, comfort level, preferred pressure, and any areas you would like Eli to focus on or avoid. You will have privacy to get comfortable on the table and will be professionally draped throughout the session. Relax, communicate whenever you need to, and let Eli take care of the rest.
Can I customize the pressure during my Swedish massage?
Absolutely. Your massage should feel goodu2014not like something you have to push through. Let Eli know whether you prefer light, medium, or firmer pressure, and speak up at any point if you would like an adjustment. Each Swedish Massage is personalized around your comfort and goals.
Should I choose a 60-, 90-, or 120-minute massage?
A 60-minute session is a great choice for relaxation or focused attention on a few key areas. Choose 90 minutes when you would like a more complete full-body experience with extra time for areas such as the neck, shoulders, back, or legs. A 120-minute session is best when you want to truly slow down, enjoy unhurried full-body care, and give extra attention to multiple areas of tension.
What is the difference between Swedish and Deep Tissue massage?
Swedish Massage uses smooth, flowing strokes and customizable light-to-medium pressure to promote relaxation and ease everyday tension. Deep Tissue Massage uses slower, firmer pressure and focused techniques to address persistent tightness, knots, and specific problem areas. If you are unsure which one is right for you, Eli can help you choose based on your comfort level and goals.
Deep Tissue Massage
What is deep tissue massage?
Deep tissue massage uses slower, focused techniques and gradually firmer pressure to address persistent muscle tension. Your session is personalized; it is not simply a harder version of Swedish Massage.
Does deep tissue massage have to hurt?
No. Strong sensation can occur, but sharp or overwhelming pain is not the goal. Eli adjusts pressure throughout the session and encourages you to speak up immediately when something does not feel right.
Should I choose 60, 90, or 120 minutes?
Choose 60 minutes for one or two priorities, 90 minutes for more complete bodywork with focused attention, and 120 minutes when several areas need unhurried care.
What is the difference between Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage?
Swedish Massage emphasizes flowing strokes and relaxation. Deep Tissue Massage uses slower, more concentrated techniques for persistent tightness and specific areas.
What should I expect afterward?
Many clients feel relaxed and looser. Temporary tenderness can occur after focused pressure. Hydrate normally, move gently, and contact a healthcare provider if symptoms are severe or unusual.
Prenatal Massage
What is prenatal massage?
Prenatal massage adapts massage techniques, pressure, and positioning for the changing comfort needs of pregnancy. At Kneads Massage, your session is personalized around your trimester, areas of tension, pressure preference, and any guidance from your prenatal care provider.
How will I be positioned during prenatal massage?
Most of the session is performed in a supported side-lying position with pillows and bolsters. This provides room for your changing body and allows Eli to adjust your position whenever you need more support.
When can I receive a prenatal massage?
Kneads Massage focuses prenatal appointments on the second and third trimesters. Every pregnancy is different, so speak with your prenatal care provider first if you are in your first trimester, have a high-risk pregnancy, have new symptoms, or have been advised to limit massage.
What pressure is used during a prenatal massage?
Eli uses gentle-to-moderate pressure and checks your comfort throughout the session. Prenatal massage is intended to feel supportive and relaxing rather than intensely deep. You can request a pressure or positioning change at any time.
Should I choose 60 or 90 minutes?
Choose 60 minutes for a comfortable session with focused attention on the areas that need it most. Choose 90 minutes when you want an unhurried experience with more time for positioning changes and broader attention across the body.
Do I need approval from my prenatal care provider?
If your pregnancy is high risk, you have a medical condition or new symptom, you are in your first trimester, or you are uncertain whether massage is appropriate, contact your prenatal care provider before booking. Medical clearance may be requested when it helps protect your comfort and safety.
Cupping Therapy
What is cupping therapy?
Cupping therapy uses specialized cups to create controlled suction on the skin. At Kneads Massage, placement and suction are personalized around your focus areas, comfort, health history, and how your skin responds.
Does cupping hurt?
You may feel pulling, pressure, warmth, or skin tightness, but the session should remain tolerable. Tell Eli immediately if a cup feels painful or too intense so the suction or placement can be adjusted.
How long do cupping marks last?
Circular red or purple marks are common and may remain visible for several days; some can take a week or two to fade. The color varies by person and does not measure toxins or prove the effectiveness of the treatment.
Who should avoid cupping therapy?
Cupping may not be appropriate during pregnancy or for people with bleeding or clotting conditions, blood-thinning medication, certain cardiovascular conditions, fragile or broken skin, active skin conditions, infection, or recent surgery. Tell Eli about your health history and ask your healthcare provider when you are uncertain.
What is the difference between Cupping Therapy and Dynamic Cupping?
A focused Cupping Therapy appointment provides dedicated time for cup placement and targeted work. Dynamic Cupping is a shorter enhancement added to a compatible massage and may use movement across a selected area. Eli can help you choose based on how much time and attention the area needs.
Should I choose the cupping and Deep Tissue combo?
Choose the combo when you want both focused hands-on massage and dedicated cupping in the same appointment. The standalone 30-minute service is better when you want a shorter, concentrated cupping session.
Post-Surgery Lymphatic Massage
Do I need my surgeonu2019s approval?
Yes. Post-surgery massage should be coordinated with the professional managing your recovery. Eli may request written clearance and needs to know approved timing, areas, pressure, positioning, and restrictions.
How soon after surgery can I book?
There is no universal timeline. Your procedure, healing, complications, and surgeonu2019s protocol determine when massage may begin. Book only after your medical provider clears it.
Is post-surgery lymphatic massage deep?
No. Lymphatic-focused techniques use light, rhythmic pressure. Deep or aggressive work is not appropriate for fresh surgical tissue.
Can massage remove fibrosis or guarantee faster healing?
No. This service cannot guarantee healing outcomes or prevent complications. Any hardening, unusual swelling, pain, or healing concern should be evaluated by your surgeon.
When should I postpone and call my provider?
Contact your medical team for fever, increasing redness or heat, drainage, worsening pain, shortness of breath, chest pain, calf pain, sudden swelling, or any symptom your surgeon told you to monitor.
Ultrasonic Cavitation
What is ultrasonic cavitation?
It is a non-surgical body-contouring procedure that applies ultrasound energy through the skin to a selected area. It is a cosmetic service, not a weight-loss or obesity treatment.
Will I lose weight from ultrasonic cavitation?
No. The service is not intended to produce weight loss or the health benefits associated with weight loss. Any visible contour change varies by person and may be temporary.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no guaranteed number. Eli will discuss your goals, response, device guidance, and whether additional sessions are appropriate after evaluating the area.
Who should not receive ultrasonic cavitation?
Treatment may be inappropriate during pregnancy or over compromised skin, active implants, metal, mesh, some scars, hernias, or recently treated areas. Disclose your complete medical and procedure history before treatment.
What side effects are possible?
Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, discomfort, or skin discoloration may occur. Ultrasound devices can also cause blisters, burns, numbness, or nerve injury, so report uncomfortable heat or pain immediately.
Rejuvenating Mini Refresh Facial
What is a Mini Refresh Facial?
It is a streamlined facial centered on cleansing, gentle exfoliation, hydration, moisturizer, and daytime SPF. It offers professional care without the deeper corrective focus of a longer treatment.
Is this facial good for a first visit?
Yes. It is a comfortable starting point when you want Eli to look at your skin and provide a straightforward refresh.
Does it include extractions?
The Mini Refresh is not designed as an extraction-focused facial. If congestion or breakouts are your main concern, Acne Rescue Facial is usually the better choice.
Can I book it before an event?
Often, yes, but new products and exfoliation can affect each person differently. Schedule with enough time before an important event and tell Eli about sensitivity or previous reactions.
What should I use afterward?
Keep your routine gentle, moisturize, and use broad-spectrum sunscreen. Eli may recommend temporarily pausing strong active products.
Acne Rescue Facial
Can an Acne Rescue Facial cure acne?
No. A facial can support cleansing, congestion care, hydration, and a consistent routine, but it does not cure acne. A dermatologist should evaluate severe, painful, scarring, or persistent acne.
Will every appointment include extractions?
No. Eli performs extractions only when the congestion and surrounding skin can be treated appropriately. Inflamed, painful, or deep blemishes may be left alone.
Should I stop my acne medication?
Do not stop prescription medication without your prescriberu2019s direction. Tell Eli everything you use so exfoliation and products can be adjusted or the facial postponed.
Will my skin be red afterward?
Temporary redness or sensitivity can occur, especially after extractions. Avoid picking, use gentle products, and protect your skin from sun exposure.
How often should I book?
Frequency depends on your skin, home routine, medications, and response. Eli can suggest a reasonable schedule without promising a specific result.
Age Smart Facial
What makes the Age Smart Facial different?
It focuses on common mature-skin concerns such as dryness, dullness, and texture while balancing exfoliation with hydration and comfort.
Will this facial remove wrinkles?
No facial can erase wrinkles or stop aging. The treatment may temporarily improve hydration, softness, and radiance, while long-term concerns may require dermatology care.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
It may be, but sensitivity varies. Tell Eli about reactions, prescriptions, procedures, and current irritation so products can be modified or treatment postponed.
Does it include exfoliation?
Yes, when appropriate. Eli selects the exfoliation level after looking at your skin and may reduce or skip it when the barrier appears compromised.
What should I do after the facial?
Use gentle products, moisturize, avoid unnecessary irritation, and apply broad-spectrum sunscreen consistently.
Back Facial
What is a Back Facial?
It is a facial-style treatment for the full back, including cleansing, analysis, exfoliation, extractions when appropriate, mask, and moisturizer.
Can a Back Facial treat back acne?
It may help with surface buildup and suitable congestion, but it does not cure acne. Painful, cystic, infected, or persistent breakouts should be evaluated medically.
Will there be extractions?
Extractions are performed only when congestion is suitable and the skin can tolerate them.
What should I wear afterward?
Clean, loose clothing can reduce friction on freshly treated skin. Avoid tight or sweaty garments when possible.
How should I prepare?
Avoid sunburn, picking, and strong exfoliation. Tell Eli about prescriptions, allergies, and recent skin procedures.
Booty Glow Treatment
What is a Booty Glow Treatment?
It is facial-style skin care for the hips and seat, using cleansing, exfoliation, mask, massage, hydration, and finishing products selected for the skin.
Will it remove cellulite or stretch marks?
No. The service may temporarily improve softness and surface appearance, but it does not reshape the body or erase cellulite, scars, stretch marks, or pigmentation.
How is privacy handled?
Professional draping is used, only the treatment area is exposed, and Eli explains each step and checks consent throughout.
Should I wax or shave first?
Avoid hair removal immediately before the service if it causes sensitivity. Allow the skin to settle and tell Eli about irritation.
Can it help with breakouts?
It may address mild surface congestion, but painful, cystic, infected, or persistent lesions should be evaluated by a dermatologist.
Microchanneling ProCell
What is ProCell microchanneling?
It is an advanced cosmetic service that creates controlled microchannels in the skin and uses specialized topical products. It is more intensive than a standard facial.
What concerns is it used for?
Clients may consider it for the appearance of texture, fine lines, uneven tone, or acne marks. Suitability and results depend on the skin concern and individual healing response.
Is there downtime?
Temporary redness, sensitivity, swelling, or a sunburn-like feeling may occur. Exact recovery varies, and the aftercare plan must be followed closely.
Who should avoid or postpone it?
Treatment should be postponed for active infection, inflamed acne, sunburn, certain medications, impaired healing, keloid tendency, recent procedures, and other contraindications discussed during consultation.
How many treatments will I need?
There is no guaranteed number. A series may be discussed based on your concern, response, healing, and treatment protocol.
Rejuvenation
What happens during a Rejuvenation appointment?
Eli reviews your skin and goals, recommends an appropriate protocol, and confirms the price, duration, expected recovery, and alternatives before treatment.
Is Rejuvenation one specific facial?
It is currently a consultation-led service rather than a verified fixed protocol in the local catalog.
Will treatment happen the same day?
A suitable facial may be possible, but advanced care or incomplete safety information can require a separate appointment.
How much does it cost?
The catalog price has not been verified. You receive the price before agreeing to treatment.
Can it treat a medical skin condition?
No. Medical concerns should be evaluated by a qualified healthcare professional.
Intimate Bright
What area does Intimate Bright treat?
Only suitable external skin within the boundary explained and agreed to during consultation. It is not internal or vaginal care.
Will it permanently change my skin color?
No permanent result or specific degree of change is guaranteed. Natural pigmentation varies, and cosmetic response differs.
When should I postpone?
Postpone for recent hair removal, irritation, broken skin, infection, lesions, or other symptoms. Medical symptoms require appropriate clinical evaluation.
How is privacy handled?
The consultation is private, professional draping is used, and only the agreed area is exposed. You may stop at any time.
How much does it cost?
The local catalog price and duration have not been verified. Both are confirmed before you consent to treatment.
